Educate a Girl. Empower a Generation.
Help shape the trajectory of 7,500 girls’ lives through education.
Countless girls in rural India are denied access to education, making them more vulnerable to poverty, early marriage, and limited opportunities. Educate Girls is changing this reality, removing barriers to education and empowering marginalized girls to enroll, learn, and build brighter futures.

This International Women’s Day, we’re taking action with our biggest match campaign yet.
Education is one of the most powerful drivers of gender equality. Through this initiative, Educate Girls and The Life You Can Save aim to enroll and educate 7,500 girls in rural India, empowering them with life-changing opportunities.
Every dollar you donate is matched, doubling the impact of your generosity. Funds raised will be equally distributed between Educate Girls’ two programs:
- Vidya (Ages 6-14) – Helps young girls enroll in school, retain in school and develop foundational literacy and numeracy skills.
- Pragati (Ages 15-29) – Provides adolescent girls and young women with a second chance at education, preparing them for 10th-grade exams and future opportunities.
Educating a girl creates a ripple effect that transforms families, communities, and entire generations. An educated girl doesn’t just uplift herself—she transforms the world around her, creating lasting, systemic change. Learn more about Educate Girls.

We are running this campaign globally, and for the purpose of reflecting the total amount raised towards our goal on the campaign page, we are using the United States’ Federal Reserve’s (FED) monthly exchange rates for January 2025 to standardize the conversion of donations.
For communication purposes, donations made in U.S. dollars (USD) and Australian dollars (AUD) are converted using these fixed rates:
- 1 USD = 1.6052 AUD
- 1 AUD = 0.6231 USD
This conversion is applied solely to display progress towards the goal and does not impact the actual value of donations processed in each currency.
