96% of farmers repay their loans. With an average loan size of US$43, this loan program covers 74% of One Acre Fund’s program costs.. This self-sustaining model ensures only US$19.59 in donations needed per farmer to close the gap.
98% of Africa-based roles are filled by African nationals. By 2026, our team will comprise over 9,000 African employees, building lasting local capacity and community ownership.
Hundreds of rigorous trials on agricultural and non-agricultural interventions—from crop diversity and soil health to solar lights and health insurance—ensure maximum farmer success.
Currently impacting 5.5 million farm families across 10 countries. By 2030, we’ll serve 10 million farm families, scaling climate-smart farming and resilient food systems.
Focus on soil health, tree seedlings, and climate-smart farming helps farmers adapt to climate shocks while building long-term resilience and environmental sustainability.
