Are you looking to use your media relations skills to make a difference? The Life You Can Save is looking for a media relations volunteer who is able to develop and drive strategies that reach, inspire and engage people to support charities that save and improve the most lives per dollar. We hope that you will join our fast-growing meta-charity, founded by Australian philosopher and Princeton Professor Peter Singer.
Project Description
Working collaboratively as a member of our small global, distributed team, this volunteer position leads the development, implementation and evaluation of The Life You Can Save’s news media and public relations initiatives to reach, inspire and engage target audiences to save and improve the most lives per dollar by supporting effective charities.
Working with the team, this role develops The Life You Can Save’s key messages and products for news outlets.
This role requires an ability to build and leverage relationships with news outlets in a fast-changing landscape, manage reactive and opportunistic media across a diverse range of issues including crisis management, and work with the wider team to develop rich offerings for news outlets.
